Moreover, A Category 2 licensee is enabled to operate more than one form of gambling, operate multiple gambling platforms, operate gambling on behalf of a Category 1 licensee or other gambling operators. According to the Gambling Ordinance, a category 2 licence may only be held by an Alderney company.

The annual licence fee for a Category 2 licence is £35,000 and encompasses monitoring and operating of a gambling platform run from the relevant authorized host.
