Casino Hold'em™
Casino Hold’em™ is a variation of a popular Texas Hold’em™ poker game created and patented by Steven Au-Yeung and played in the most popular online casinos. Casino Hold’em™ differs from Texas Hold’em™ in that it is played against the house rather than against other players.
Objective
The objective of the game is to beat the Dealer’s hand by getting the best possible five-card hand out of the two cards you are dealt and five community cards.
Cards
Casino Hold’em™ is played with a standard pack of 52 cards(Jokers are excluded). Cards are shuffled after each game.
The individual cards are ranked in the following falling order: Ace (high or low), King, Queen, Jack, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3 and 2. Ace can be the highest-value card in a straight of A, K, Q, J, 10, or the lowest-value card in a straight of 5, 4, 3, 2, A.

- Move your pointer over the Min/Max sign to view the paytable when in the game.
Play
Play begins with placing an initial Ante bet. You can also make a side AA bet, but it cannot be made without Ante being placed.
Click DEAL. You and the dealer are both dealt two cards face down and three “flop” cards are dealt at the center of the table. You and the dealer can both use community cards to complete a hand. If the hand contains a winning combination, its name is displayed. You are supposed to estimate your chances to win and decide whether to raise and continue playing against the dealer, or fold and lose all the stakes.
- Fold – by selcting to fold you end the game and lose all the stakes – both AA and Ante.
- Raise – by selecting to raise you place one more stake that equal twice your Ante. Two more community cards are dealt, for a total of five. The Dealer's cards are revealed. The best paying hands are formed for the player and the dealer, using 5 out 7 available cards. The hands formed are evaluated.
Game Outcomes
The dealer must have a pair of 4s or higher to qualify.
If the Dealer’s hand does not qualify, you win. Ante bet is paid out according to the Ante paytable, and Raise bet is returned to you.
If the Dealer’s hand qualifies, it is compared to your hand:
- If the Dealer's hand is lower, your Ante bet is paid according to Ante paytable and Raise bet pays 1:1.
- If the Dealer's hand is higher, you lose both Ante and Raise bets. Even if you lose against the Dealer, you still receive AA winnings if you qualify for it. AA winnings are paid according to AA paytable.
- If you and the Dealer have exactly the same hands it is a push. In this case Raise and Ante are returned to you, while AA bet still can win.
Hand Ranking
- If you and the dealer have hands of the same type, the hand that includes the card of higher value wins (i.e. Three Kings beats Three Queens; a flush of A, 6, 5, 4, 3 beats a flush of K, J, 10, 8, 7).
- If the hands are of the same type and value, the next highest card that is not part of the paying hand, known as the kicker, determines the winner.
